Currently available at Worthington Compressor are two types of WEG Electric Motors including the Open Drip Proof (ODP) motor and Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motor. Both meet or exceed all NEMA Premium requirements when it comes to energy efficiency. These rolled steel motors carry an innovative electrical and mechanical design that allows equipment to run cooler and last longer.

W22 TEFC motors are best used for applications including conveyor belts, crushers, centrifugal machines, elevators, and more. Its design guarantees optimized air flow through all motor frames maintaining low operational temperatures and ensuring extended equipment life. ODP Premium Efficient motors are designed for use in environments with minimal moisture and dirt. Ideal for applications including machine tools and fan, it feature class F insulation, a double punched base, rated voltage of 208-230/460V, rated output of 1 to 25 HP, and more.

These WEG Electric motors assure improved thermal performance from the equipment’s new ventilation system, sturdy feet design best for tough applications (frames 182/4T and up), suitable for VFD operation as per NEMA MG1 part 31.4.42, color coded/numbered leads as standard for easy wiring, as well as regreasable ball bearings on 254/6T frame as standard (optional for 182/4T and 213/5T).
