Atlas Copco Unveils Vast Facility

Atlas Copco recently announced thewide expansion of its custom designed workshop in Hemel Hempstead. The facility upgrade and expansion is part of the company’s response tothe increasing global demand in the oil and gas industry.
Taking the lead in providing sustainable productivity solutions, Atlas Copco continues to invest in the development of its custom engineering workshop to provide compressed air and nitrogen generation packages that meet customer specification and standards.
The company increased the workshop total floor area from 850m2 to 1950m2.Additionally, the production facility implemented otheron-site improvements such as a new mezzanine level and external 12m x 15m covered test area. These improvements allow the facility to accommodate all project works with varying customer and component requirements.
