About Roger Brueckman
Roger has literally grown up in the compressor industry with the Worthington name always in his mind. His father started with the original Worthington Buffalo, NY plant for over 25 years. Rogers father stepped away from the main Worthington plant in 1979 so he could establish his own business in St. Louis, MO. PCA – (Parts Corp of America) was incorporated with the idea to make replacement parts for the Worthington Compressor line. Roger started to help out on a part time basis shortly after PCA opened its doors.
As the business flourished Roger became full time in August of 1980. His main focus, at the time, was in the shop assembling valves, unloaders and other replacement kits division. This offered him invaluable experience into the inner workings of not only the valves, but the compressors as whole. Being a small company his role was bolstered up quickly to become involved with procurement aspect of PCA. To help develop the product line, Roger was tasked to grow the small company while having to build patterns and the tooling required to produce replacement parts. This meant he started to coordinate with the pattern shops and foundries.
n 1983 the company, now Worldwide Supply, merged with Southern Parts and Engineering (SPECO), with the focus on the Worthington line. Roger was responsible for the machine shop as well as continuing to do the bulk of the purchasing for Worthington.
In July of 1998 the company had an opportunity to purchase the Worthington Compressor parts business from Dresser/ LeRoi. Shortly after that his father retired and he took over the manufacturing plant in St. Louis. He ran the plant until 2010 when ISS, Industrial Service Solutions, acquired SPECO-Worthington. Since then Roger has been a force in coordinating the outside service department while still streamlining the manufacturing process. His overall knowledge of both the rotary screw and reciprocating compressors is a tremendous asset to the organization and to the customers he serves.
With 30 + years of experience in the compressor industry, with a strong focus of everything Worthington, Roger’s main focus has been consulting with Worthington Compressor clients with the same historic quality Worthington has integrated into its parts and service divisions.
Worthington has a long established history of working with integrity. Continued growth is our number one goal.
Roger will consult you with any of your needs, his pedigree will prove itself and help extend your compressor life.
